Our Commitment to the Voluntary Code of Good Practice

Secure Platform200,000+ Winners

WinWink is a signatory to the DCMS Voluntary Code

WinWink is a signatory to the DCMS Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators, published by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. The Code sets clear, consistent standards for how prize competitions are run in the UK, so that players know what to expect and can trust the operators they enter with.

We run paid and free prize competitions across trading card games, collectibles, and tech. Signing up to the Code is our commitment to running those competitions fairly, transparently and to being accountable for it.

What the Code covers

The Code is built around three things: protecting players, being transparent, and being accountable. In practice that means clear rules on who can enter, how draws are run and prizes delivered, how we advertise, how we handle complaints, and how we monitor our own compliance.

How we meet each part

Over-18s only. Our competitions are open to entrants aged 18 and over, and we take reasonable steps to verify age. See our Terms and Conditions and Responsible Play page.

A genuine free entry route. Every competition can be entered free of charge, and we publicise how to do it clearly. See our free entry route.

Fair draws and real prizes. We run our draws fairly and deliver the advertised prize, or a reasonable cash alternative, promptly. We do not reduce or cancel a prize because of how many tickets were sold. See How It Works.

Responsible play. We provide tools and information to help people play within their means and to support anyone who may be at risk of harm. See Responsible Play.

Clear, honest marketing. Our advertising follows the UK Advertising Codes. We never suggest that entering competitions is a way to solve money problems or achieve financial security, and we hold the third parties who market for us to the same standard.

A published complaints process. If something goes wrong, we tell you exactly how to raise it, how quickly we will respond, and how to escalate. See our Complaints Policy.

We review our own compliance. We monitor our compliance with the Code and review it formally every quarter, with a named owner, so that anything that changes or slips is caught and fixed quickly.

Why this matters

Signing the Code is a voluntary step. We took it because it is the right way to run this business, and because it gives our customers and our partners confidence in how we operate. If you have any questions about our compliance, or about how a competition is run, contact us at support@winwink.co.uk.
